Hertz Launches HZA 3600 and HZA 3600 EQ
Hertz Guitars, a brand known for its quality craftsmanship and innovative acoustic instruments, has expanded its lineup with the launch of two new models: the Hertz HZA 3600 and HZA 3600 EQ acoustic guitars. The guitars, unveiled this week, are designed to cater to both traditional acoustic enthusiasts and modern players seeking amplified sound options.
The HZA 3600 is a 36″ concert-sized acoustic guitar, available in two variants: HZA 3600MG with a mahogany top and HZA 3600NT with a spruce top. Both versions feature mahogany back and sides, a nato neck, and a black Richlite fingerboard, providing warm, resonant tones. The smaller concert body enhances comfort, especially for beginners or players seeking a more compact instrument.
The HZA 3600 EQ model builds upon the traditional acoustic base with the addition of an AEQ2T preamp, featuring an onboard LED tuner and input jack socket. This semi-acoustic version gives players the versatility to amplify their sound without sacrificing tonal clarity. The guitar’s onboard equalizer allows for real-time adjustments, making it particularly appealing to gigging musicians who need control over their amplified tone.
Craftsmanship and Design
Both guitars showcase Hertz’s signature attention to detail, with a satin finish that enhances the natural grain of the wood. The die-cast chrome tuners ensure tuning stability, while the slim neck profile ensures comfortable playability, even for those with smaller hands.
“We designed the HZA 3600 and HZA 3600 EQ to be versatile, reliable instruments that cater to a broad range of musicians,” said Ronny Sinha, Head of Product Development at Hertz Guitars. “Whether you’re jamming around a campfire, recording in the studio, or performing on stage, these guitars deliver the sound, feel, and aesthetics that players want.”
Performance and Sound Quality
During the marketing campaigns and video shoot, several guitarists praised the new models for their rich, balanced sound. The mahogany body in the HZA 3600MG variant and the spruce top of the HZA 3600NT each offered distinctive tonal characteristics, while the HZA 3600 EQ’s onboard electronics impressed with minimal feedback and dynamic response when plugged into an amplifier.
Affordability Meets Quality
Despite their premium features, both models are competitively priced, making them accessible to musicians at all levels. The HZA 3600 is positioned as an excellent entry- to mid-level option, while the HZA 3600 EQ targets semi-professional players seeking a reliable stage guitar without breaking the bank.
Availability
The Hertz HZA 3600 and HZA 3600 EQ are now available at authorized Hertz dealers worldwide and through the company’s online store. Accessories such as padded gig bags, guitar stands, and extra strings are also available.
With the launch of the HZA 3600 series, Hertz Guitars continues to strengthen its reputation for delivering quality instruments that blend traditional acoustic craftsmanship with modern innovations. As the market for versatile and affordable acoustic guitars grows, these new models are poised to strike a chord with a wide range of musicians.
